Many people across the UK don't consider themselves to be wholly religious or wholly non-religious, but somewhere in between. Or some people hold strong cultural or spiritual beliefs about life and death.
A funeral service that celebrates any element outside of the traditional framework of Religious or Humanist services, can be hard to find. Being a qualified, independent civil celebrant, I am here to help you by writing and conducting a funeral service that is personal, meaningful and unique.

Independent Civil Celebrants are not restricted by scripts nor constrained by beliefs. It is the needs of the individual and their loved ones that matter. Services can contain music, poems, hymns, tributes, eulogies, prayers and/or blessings of choice.
Services can be conducted at a place that is important to the family or to loved ones or to friends. This usually happens at a crematorium or at a non-consecrated or green burial site, but the service can be held anywhere meaningful with permission of the landowner.
