Independent Funeral Ceremonies for Herefordshire, Worcestershire & Bordering Counties
about
me
A celebrant is a professional writer and a professional speaker. Celebrants communicate feelings, meaning, love, warmth and also sadness.

In 2016 I trained as a Family & Wedding Celebrant with the Fellowship of Professional Celebrants before training with Mountain Celebrations Celebrant School in Newport, Wales, in 2017 where I studied for Level 3 NOCN 'Certificate in Civil Celebrancy in the UK'. I have worked as a celebrant ever since.

For 18yrs I was a member of a Public Service before starting my own training company in 2001. Training work took me across the UK, meeting very many different people.

Bringing together the skills of speaking and writing led me towards becoming a celebrant.
To respect and honour the wishes of the individual and their loved ones, is the most important part of doing this work and why I chose to become an Independent Civil Celebrant, not tied to a set of beliefs that would be imposed upon anyone. My role is to help the bereaved and respect their wishes, preparing and delivering a service as they want it.
